Kareena Kapoor apparently refused to eat eggs during the filming of a scene in Short Term Shaadi.
The Hindi film star announced that eating eggs would go against her strict vegetarian principles, Mid Day reports.
"Kareena plays a hairstylist in the film and was to shoot a breakfast scene set in a US cafe with Imran Khan," a source revealed.
It is said that the star "pleaded, argued and eventually threw a tantrum" with the project's director Shakun Batra.
The filmmaker is thought to have then agreed to Kapoor eating eggless pancakes in the scene.
The Jab We Met actor apparently adopted a vegetarian diet when dating actor Shahid Kapoor.
